Thali Madness!
It was an everyday thang in Kerala and Tamil. Look at this array of delcious:

Sometimes you would get 10 items, half of which you couldn't name, with unlimited refill plus rice and bread, and sometimes sweets and Paan. For one dollar!!! We'd get it on.

Ren wasn't a slouch either.

Our Scottish friends were into the Thali scene, and they had an adorable way of pronouncing it like "Tally".
