Trucks ("Lorries") in India are kind of like boats. They have a crew that may live on them, they are handpainted and may be made of wood. Well, partially.



We were admiring this one and it's dudes hailed us and made us come hang and take photos. They appeared to be hauling dirt or sand, maybe to make concrete with? There were some ladies, too, but they were shy.
