We lived in Chiang Mai for three months. Chiang Mai is a northern city of temples, tourists, good food, smog, and songteaws (red pick-up trucks that serve as busses).

We lived for awhile in a hotel
Then moved to our own little house
Which had a kitchen on the back porch
Usually, G would wake up before me in the morning and make tea
While I would sleep in
And then wake up begrudgingly
